For some reason, I posted TWO times yesterday and they're not showing up anymore so hopefully this thing works from here on out!
Today I woke up and my first thought was, "Wow, today is my last day here!" I had so much planned to do and last minute things to pick up for my trip. I had lunch with some of my best girlfriends to say goodbye and then I came home to say goodbye to my best friend, Katie, and my God daughter, Lilly. Too many goodbye's is not fun. :( Tomorrow's will be the worst, unfortunately.
On a brighter note, I'm about ALL packed up and ready to leave tomorrow at 8am for Indy! I've been checking the weather for Liverpool and this week will be about 60 with some rain. I'm starting to feel mixed emotions about the whole trip-- so excited to explore and enter a foreign country but so sad to be leaving my friends and family for 8 weeks. I guess that's part of the experience though-- traveling with new friends and learning new things. I'm definitely looking forward to learn more about the world and ultimately, myself. :)
Tonight I'm going to see the movie Bridesmaids with my family, which will be our last little get together before I leave... so hard to believe. Harder to believe that I'll be in a plane at this time tomorrow. Good thing my best friend Ashley, another one of my best friends, bought me magazines and a coloring book to keep me busy for 9 hours! I'm also bringing my iPod and a little "London" journal my Mom got me.
AHH! SO NERVOUS AND EXCITED ALL AT THE SAME TIME! And the next time I'll be able to post will be when I'm in ENGLAND! Talk to everyone then! :)
